• Clean your outboard motor thoroughly.
• Remove all fuel from the carburetor by running the engine without fuel supply.
• Change the engine oil and tail oil. It is important that the tail is not full of water.
• Check and replace (where necessary) the oil filter.
• Check and replace (where necessary) the spark plugs.
• Replace the impeller if it has become hard or damaged.
